DOEACC SCHEME
The Ministry of Information Technology (MIT-formerly Department of Electronics) is operating a scheme, namely the Department of Electronics Accrediation Of Computer Courses (DOEACC). The scheme is the outcome of a working group set up by the all All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is the statutory body for the development of technical education including computer education in the country. The AICTE has delegated the responsibility to MIT, which has authorised the DOEACC society to implement the scheme.
Under the scheme the computer institute/organizations in the non-formal sector subject to meeting well defined norms in criteria are given accreditation for conducting specified levels of courses. DOEACC, as a society under the auspicious Ministry of Information Technology handles all the task like registring the students for various examinations, conducting examinations, evaluation of the results and awarding the certificates. These certificates have been recognised by Central and the State Govt. and statutory organisations for the purpose of employment.
1. An IT Literacy course namely, Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) is offered by the Society all over the country
2. The other level of courses are:
O Level [Equivalent to Foundation level course]
A Level [Equivalent to Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications]
B Level [Equivalent MCA Level]
C Level [M. Tech Level]
Eligibility Criteria
CCC : No pre-requisite qualifications are required by the candidates to undergo this course
O' Level
Students from Accredited Institute
10+2 , 10+ ITI Certificate (One Year), Pre-Degree, VHSE
OR
Successful completion of the second year of a Government recognised polytechnic engineering diploma course after class 10, followed by an accredited 'O' Level course concurrently during the third year of the said polytechnic engineering diploma course. The 'O' level certificate will be awarded only after successful completion of the polytechnic engineering diploma.
Direct Applicants
10+2 or ITI Certificate (One Year) after class 10, followed in each case, by one-year relevant experience. Relevant experience connotes job experience in IT, including teaching in a recognised institution as a faculty member, excludes coaching.
ORa pass in the NCVT-DP&CS (Data Preparation & Computer Software) Examination, conducted by DGE&T (Govt. of India)
A' Level
Students from Accredited Institute
Poly Diploma/Degree/O' Level
OR
A Government recognised polytechnic engineering diploma after 10+2/ Graduate and an accredited 'A' Level course in each case (May be concurrent). Even after clearing 'A' Level the diploma will be awarded only after successful completion of the academic stream i.e. polytechnic engineering diploma after 10+2 or degree.
Students from Accredited Institute
Poly Diploma/Degree/O' Level
OR
A Government recognised polytechnic engineering diploma after 10+2/ Graduate and an accredited 'A' Level course in each case (May be concurrent). Even after clearing 'A' Level the diploma will be awarded only after successful completion of the academic stream i.e. polytechnic engineering diploma after 10+2 or degree.

B' Level
Students from Accredited Institute
A' Level/Govt. recognised PPDCA/PGDCA/Polytechnic Engineering Diploma/Graduate(First two semesters are exempted for those who pass 'A' Level in full/PDCA/PGDCA)
Direct Applicants
A' Level/Govt. recognised PPDCA/PGDCA by two years relevant experience.
Graduate/Polytechnic Engineering Diploma, followed in each case by three years relevant experience.
C' Level
Students from Accredited Institute
B' Level/B.Tech/BE/MCA/MSc/Master's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Operations Research/MBA (or equivalent) with B.Sc./B.A. (Mathematics/Statistics)/ GATE (Computer)
Direct Applicants
B' Level/B.Tech/BE/MCA/MSc/Master's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics/Operations Research/MBA (or equivalent) with B.Sc./B.A. (Mathematics/Statistics)/ GATE (Computer), by one and half year relevant experience.
Note: Relevant experience connotes job experience in IT, including teaching in a recognised institution as a faculty member, excludes coaching.
